For the ninth year, Semillas Fitó has been present at Fruit Logistica 2015 with its own stand. Following the same line as the previous year in terms of messages to communicate, the company has done emphasis on its investment in R&D and the taste of its varieties.

For the ninth year, Semillas Fitó has been present at Fruit Logistica 2015 with its own stand. Following the same line as the previous year in terms of messages to communicate, the company has done emphasis on its investment in R&D and the taste of its varieties.
 
The stand provided both some varieties of its worldwide top species (tomato and melon) on its “Hall of Fame” wall with Paladium (cluster) and Byelsa (plum / roma) in tomato, and Goldex (yellow canary) and Solmarin (charentais LSL) in melon, as some of their latest new varieties on a separate counter: Ateneo, a big cluster tomato for long cycle; HA 110732, a galia melon with an excellent internal quality; Esmeralda, a half-long listed eggplant with a nice colour and yield along the crop; Amalia, a half-long eggplant with an excellent post-harvest and high yield; Atlantis, a bright green squash that stands out for its quality and yield during all the cycle; Jairan, a very homogeneous Dutch cucumber with a good quality; Madroño, the Dutch cucumber that combines earliness and fruit quality. All of these new products were well received by the visitors and they have a very promising future.
 
Another highlight was the presentation of their specialties of its traditional “Delicious Corner”: Jessy, the very attractive round purple eggplant, or Zanetti, a very sweet Italian smooth pepper, have aroused the curiosity of many visitors that they did not want to come back home without a picture with the old farmer carriage taken in a small Museum in Catalonia and re-used as a counter as it was in our stand of Fruit Logistica 2014 few months before.
 
Finally, the fair had its special importance for the company as it has coincided with the launch date of its new corporate website. During the exhibition, several visitors wanted to have a look at and browse by: www.semillasfito.com , so they could give their first point of view, very positives indeed.
